ABOUT KOUKIE · OUR STORY
A thoughtful home is made of little things. Something useful, something comforting, something made by hand.
Hi, I’m Imane Elhariri, the person behind Koukie. This space began with simple meals made for family and friends. Today, it is growing into a home for crochet kitchen inspiration, with the recipes that started it all still close by.
From the kitchen table
to the making table.
Koukie started with a familiar question: what can I make that brings a little more comfort to everyday life? At first, the answer was a meal. Recipes were a way to share small discoveries, familiar flavors, and the joy of making something for the people around me.
This new chapter carries that idea into crochet. A basket that brings order to a countertop. A coaster that makes a coffee break feel special. A handmade bag for a meal shared away from home. Practical pieces with a personal touch.
Useful things.
Thoughtfully made.
Our focus is crochet for the kitchen and the table: storage and organizers, dining accessories, everyday kitchen projects, and food carriers and bags. The aim is simple: help you discover ideas that deserve a place in your daily life.
The crochet journal is just beginning. New articles and project photography will be added as this collection grows. You can explore available patterns now in the Eatyoom shop on Etsy.

something cooking.
The recipe archive remains part of Koukie. It is our kitchen corner: breakfasts, easy lunches, comforting dinners, and desserts to enjoy between projects. Crochet leads this new chapter; homemade food remains part of our story.
Whether you’re here for your next make or your next meal, I’m glad you found your way here.
Welcome to Koukie.
